The Centre raises about twenty million rupees year after year, thanks to friends and supporters and trusts, foreign funding agencies and corporate sector and we get funds from government and other bodies for specific projects. Donations made to the Yusuf Meherally Centre qualify for tax exemption under the Income Tax Act, 1961. The Centre is also registered under the Foreign Contributions (Regulation) Act, 1976 for receipt of foreign donations. And accounts are held with the following banks:
