Lions Club of Mumbai Carter Road is associated with the Yusuf Meherally Centre (YMC), since 1987, and has been supporting the YMC activities, particularly, in its cataract operation camps. Every year on October 2, the YMC holds a cataract operation camp at its hospital at Tara, duly sponsored by the Lions Club of Mumbai Carter Road. Invariably, on October 2 of each year, a group of these Lions visit the YMC campus at Tara, spending time in interaction with the YMC management and workers. This year too they were there at Tara campus on October 02, 2015, and met Dr. G.G.Parikh, Chairman and Shri Mateen Diwan, Treasurer of the YMC along with its social workers and staff, who welcomed them.
